Welcome to Avenida Cottage, an affordable waterfront monthly rental vacation home with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths (sleeps 8 with 2 sleeper sofas) located just down the street from the beach. Sitting in the quiet, south end of the island, it offers the best of both to guests - a dock on a canal waterfront and a short walk to the beach, making it ideal for fishing enthusiasts, sun-seekers and ocean lovers alike.

Step inside and feel the beachy vibes throughout the home, where remodeled updates complement the laid-back beach cottage aesthetic. The Primary Bedroom features a King Bed, its own TV and an En Suite Primary Bath with a walk in shower. The Guest Bedroom has a Queen Bed, its own TV and the Guest Bath right next door with a tub/shower combo. The living room has two sleeper sofas to ensure comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 additional guests, along with a huge TV and a billiards table for entertainment. The remodeled Kitchen has all new appliances and a breakfast bar on the island that seats 2. There's a Dining Table for 6 where everyone can gather to enjoy a meal or play cards. Out on the Lanai, you will find a BBQ Grill. Some of the best memories are made over a shared meal. After grilling, you have the option of dining outside on the backyard patio by the water. Your dock allows you to rent a boat and tie up or wake up every morning and fish without ever leaving the property.

Avenida Cottage is designed for both relaxation and entertainment. Convenience is key, with a washer and dryer in the home. Parking is available in your own garage and driveway.

There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PET policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.

Whether you’re looking to unwind by fishing off your own dock, napping in the backyard hammock, exploring the island, or simply soaking in the Florida sunshine, Avenida Cottage is an affordable option to call home during your beach getaway. You are just a short walk to 7 miles of our beautifully restored, white sandy beaches and emerald, green Gulf waters - a place for family fun in the sun, a stopping point for the migration of the rare white pelicans and roseate spoonbills, and our world famous sunsets! The quiet, south end of the island is the perfect place to enjoy the true island lifestyle!

Fort Myers Beach is famous for its breathtaking sunsets, long white sandy beaches, shell collecting, boating, water sports and excellent fishing.

Island times are back again! You will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, live music, fresh "pink gold" shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer, including our world famous sunsets.

Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Santini Marina Plaza will offer you restaurants, shops and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! The island's major supermarket, Publix, is open, as is Snook Bite Marina with its two lively restaurants on the Bay.

Beach days, waterfront dining, live music, spectacular sunsets - there's never been a better time to experience the new energy of Fort Myers Beach. We would like to note that there is still construction occurring on the island as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds. However, we are ready to welcome visitors back and certain you will enjoy our beautifully restored, white sandy beaches and turquoise blue Gulf waters.
