Do some dolphin watching and catch our world famous sunsets - all without leaving your condo. Best of all, your backyard is a million$$$ beachfront and the gorgeous blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Bright, clean, airy and very nicely decorated, this vacation home features tile floors throughout and lots of ceiling fans so you can turn off the A/C and open up the windows and lanai doors to let in the Gulf breezes.
The fully equipped, beautifully updated Kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a glass top range, microwave, and that "oh-so-important" dishwasher. Dishware and cookware fill the cabinets to allow you to prepare all your meals or better enjoy take out. Lots of counter space for prep extends to a huge, comfortable granite topped peninsula and breakfast bar for one. The open floor layout offers a Gulf view from the kitchen. For more formal dining, there's a glass top table for 4.
In the living room, you will find lots of comfortable seating and a wall mounted large screen TV for family viewing. Straight through the sliding glass doors to the screened in lanai where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee, evening glass of wine or hours of relaxation reading the newest best seller.
The Master Bedroom is an En Suite and boasts a King-sized bed, its own TV and a private lanai access. The Master Bath features a walk in shower. On the opposite side of the condo sits the Guest Bedroom that has two Twin beds and its own TV. Right next door is the Guest Bath with a tub/shower combo. For your convenience, there's free WiFi in the unit, a building elevator, ample on-site parking and a laundry facility located on-site in the Smugglers Cove building.
Beautifully landscaped with palm trees swaying in the sea breeze, Smugglers Cove is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Your backyard is 7 miles of sugar sand and the turquoise waters of the Gulf. Fort Myers Beach is one of the country's top rated beaches and is famous for its breathtaking sunsets, white sandy beach, shell collecting, boating, water sports and excellent fishing. Mid island is known for its relaxing and care free atmosphere. No need to use your car - you are walking distance to Publix grocery store, Bayfront Bistro and Snook Bite Marina. The Beach Trolley also stops outside Smugglers Cove and will take you from one end of the island to the other - south to Lover's Key State Park or north up to Times Square, The Pier, and Bowditch Point Park. Since Smugglers Cove is located mid-island, it's only 3 1/2 miles from either end of the island.
Smugglers Cove offers guests all the amenities in a tropical setting. Relax on the beach under one of our tiki huts; swim in the Gulf or take a dip in the resort-sized heated pool. There's plenty of lounge chairs poolside, a shuffleboard court and BBQ grills to enjoy.
PLEASE NOTE: On-site parking for one vehicle per rental unit. Vehicle must have proper parking permit obtained from Smugglers Cove on-site office. Only Registered Guests are allowed on the property. Additional one day visitor parking passes available upon request by Registered Guest and are subject to parking availability.

Great getaway location, located close to the center of everything but also far enough away to not constantly being in the noise and chaos. It was very comfortable and had everything that we would need. The only complaint is that there were some loud guest on our last 2 night that made it very difficult to sleep in the front bedroom.

The condo was right on the beach and had a nicely stocked kitchen, including a blender! The condo was comfortable and fit all of our needs. The grocery story was down the street. We rented a car because there were not a lot of close restaurants. We did not use the pool because we spent all day in the ocean. The water was great and there were not many people on the beach. The only little complaint we had was the really bad smell in the elevator. They were quick to respond when I had a question before we arrived. We would come back here again.

Smugglers Cove is a wonderful complex with the perfect beach located mid-island – walking distance to Publix grocery store. We inquired with the building management about the bad odor in the elevator – apparently one of the guests was bringing up his catch of the day and it got away from him! Lol, all good now!

The property manager and staff (Leanne and Beth) were quick to answer questions and the check-in process was easy. The condo was clean and close to the grocery store and restaurants. Beautiful view and quieter beach. The office staff at Smugglers cove was great at enforcing the rules. We had people smoking In Their balcony below us and it kept wafting into our room and the office lady was quick to take care of it as this is a no smoking property! Happy happy happy and we will be coming again next year.
