Comfortable deck furniture provides a place to breathe in the fresh sea air and enjoy a drink while you watch the sun set over the Gulf. There's a master bedroom en suite with a king sized bed and its own lanai access. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and its own guest bath. The kitchen is a delight with brand new appliances. The formal dining table comfortably seats six while light streams in from the lanai. Plantation shutters on every window allow you to adjust the amount of sunlight streaming in. The entire unit has been professionally decorated with style. For your convenience, there is an in-unit washer/dryer, free WiFi, elevator, secure lobby and covered parking space.
Beautifully landscaped with palm trees swaying in the breeze, Island's End is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the south end of Fort Myers Beach. Seven miles of white sand and surf is right outside the back door. The south end of the island is known for its relaxing and care free atmosphere, but still close to many shops and restaurants in Santini Marina Plaza. The beach trolley also stops right outside this community which will take you to Lover's Key or up to Times Square. The rental was very nice. It has been recently updated with a beautiful, modern kitchen and bathroom. It was very clean upon arrival. The view was spectacular! The condo had all the basic supplies needed to start the first day of vacation. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. The maintenance man who works there and the neighbors I met were all very friendly and kind. However, the condo below me was doing some sort of major renovation. For two+ weeks of my stay, I had loud hammering, sawing, drilling noises to deal with the entire day. This started as early as 7 a.m. and continued until dinner time. They even worked on both Saturday and Sunday, which I admit was quite annoying. It most definitely impacted my stay in a very negative way all the times/days I was in the condo. I left some days to get away from the noise when I didn’t have plans to be out. I would imagine these condo HOA’s require filing some sort of permit or plan to do major renovations. Perhaps this is a question your team can start asking before renting condos. Then you are advised of such plans so people don’t rent connecting condos during such times. I vacation in beautiful areas such as Fort Myers Beach not only for the beautiful views, but to relax and enjoy peace and quiet. I did not have that for half this trip and I am most definitely disappointed. Having said that, I know this isn’t your company’s fault. I would use your services again. The whole process was stress free and easy. I would rent the condo again. The condo itself is a 5. The whole experience a 3 due to the awful noise of construction in the home.
