Great Stay

We were so happy to be back to Fort Myers Beach and Tennis Club. We had visited before Ian, but this was our first visit since the hurricane. There is construction and renovations still going on at EBTC, but that did not stop us from enjoying our vacation! They have done a good job on the condo buildings and grounds, but like I said they are still working daily, to beautify it. Our room was exactly as described and pictured. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It’s beautifully decorated. It has a direct gulf view, with stunning ocean views. The balcony had chairs and a table. The TV was cable, but if you had subscriptions to programs, you could sign in and watch them. Unfortunately we did not, so we were limited for television. We have a smart tv at home, that we prefer. We went to the beach everyday and used the beach chairs and cooler provided. Luckily, we brought two small umbrellas that attach to chairs for the sun hot rays. We used the pool several times also. They have new loungers and chairs n tables at the pool area. It is a heated pool, I believe. It was a very nice area. We quickly learned to use the Lee Tran bus stop at Santini Plaza, right across the street. (The plaza is not open yet.) Bus/trolley costs 75 cents each way. We took it up to Time Square and walked to several restaurants. We visited the farmers market also. We flew in to Punta Gorda. The traffic was not as bad as we were predicting, reading past reviews. We were at EBTC May 3-13th. We visited the 7-Eleven next door to the condo for drinks n snacks, Publix up on Estero Blvd and had Wal Mart deliver us groceries. During our visit our relatives had a short stay at one of the condos of EBTC managed by Kathy Nesbit. They drove from their home state, so we did have a couple car transportation days. We would not hesitate coming back to EBTC and renting this same condo. (Surprisingly I met the owner, by chance, walking the beach and looking for shells one evening. We both stop and engaged in a conversation and I realized we were in her condo. What were the odds of that?! ) This vacation was all that we could ask for and then some.
